Bookshop

For all your SkillsTech Australia texts, the Student Bookshop is the source. Text books are available covering all academic curricula. The bookshop opens at the start of training programs and semesters and at other times by arrangement.

Cafeteria

SkillsTech Australia provides a cafeteria on all training centres for students and staff.

Parking and public transport

Parking

Free on-site parking is available at all training centres. There are parking spaces at all campuses for people who have the Queensland Transport Disability Parking Permit.

Cars parked illegally will be towed away at the owner's expense. Please read the conditions of entry when entering the training centres car parks.

Public transport

Public buses and trains operate to the campuses from all areas of Brisbane.

If you are a full-time student with SkillsTech Australia your student card will also give you discounted travel on buses and trains.

Visit TransLink for detailed information on travel routes, timetables and tickets.

Student bus service

A free student bus service is available for all students at the Acacia Ridge Training Centre. Further details including pick up/drop off points and times can be found on the student bus service flyer [PDF 829kb].

Security

Students enrolled at SkillsTech Australia can be assured of a security presence on all campuses.

Security officers are employed by SkillsTech Australia. They complete foot patrols, escort persons to cars and generally provide assistance where required. As a student enrolled at the SkillsTech Australia you can ask for their assistance by referring to security contact numbers for your campus.

SkillsTech Australia does not accept responsibility for the loss of personal possessions. Students are urged to take suitable precautions to protect personal belongings.
